Introducing Cyndi: Our New Resident Blogger

We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our blog, Cyndi Bennett. With a wealth of experience and a passion for supporting trauma survivors, Cyndi brings a unique perspective to our platform. Allow us to introduce her.

Cyndi Bennett, MBA, M.Ed., CTRC-I, is the owner of Cyndi Bennett Consulting. As a trauma survivor herself, with over 21 years of experience in a top-five financial corporation, she understands the challenges that survivors face when trying to build their careers while overcoming the long-term effects of childhood trauma. With her expertise as a Certified Trauma Recovery Career Coach, Cyndi empowers trauma survivors to transition from feeling triggered and hopeless to being regulated, empowered, and finding fulfillment in their professional lives. She equips her clients with the necessary tools to leverage their individual interests, talents, and passions, paving the way for personal and professional growth.

Cyndi is deeply connected to the mission and vision of Recentre Limited, as an organisation we are dedicated to supporting trauma survivors and creating more trauma-informed spaces. Her affiliation with Recentre Limited reflects her shared commitment to helping trauma survivors and fostering supportive environments.

In her role as a blog writer, Cyndi focuses on aiding trauma survivors in overcoming the effects of trauma  and pays particular attention to its effect on their careers. Drawing from her personal experiences of navigating the corporate world for over 21 years as a survivor with CPTSD (Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), she brings awareness and hope to those who are working tirelessly but silently suffering. Her insightful blogs have also been featured on the CPTSD Foundation, further solidifying her expertise and impact in the field.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Cyndi treasures her role as a wife and grandmother. She has been happily married to her wonderful husband, Jim, for nearly 36 years, and together they have raised three adult children and enjoy the company of their four delightful grandsons.

When she’s not immersed in her work or spending quality time with her family, Cyndi finds solace in the great outdoors. Whether it’s hiking, mountain biking, road cycling, or simply taking leisurely walks, she embraces the beauty of nature and finds rejuvenation in its embrace.

We are excited to have Cyndi on board as our resident blogger, and we are confident that her valuable insights, personal experiences, and compassionate approach will enrich our blog and resonate with our readers. Stay tuned for her upcoming articles, where she will offer guidance, support, and inspiration to trauma survivors seeking to thrive in their careers despite the challenges they face.
