Recentre – Booking Terms & Conditions

Virtual programmes

  1. A 50% deposit is payable to secure your place. The remaining 50% must be paid within 14 days of the first session of your programme. If you book within 14 days of the first session in your programme, the full amount is payable.
  2. The deposit is non-refundable for cancellations within 14 days of the programme start date.
  3. If you cancel up to 14 days of the programme start date, your deposit payment may be transferred to another programme subject to availability. Only one transfer is permitted. This transfer option is valid up to a period of 2 years from date of original booking.
  4. If you book a programme using a promotion code or special offer, the code/offer is only valid for the original programme date booked and is not transferable.
  5. In the event of a ‘no show’ for any booking, any balance due for the programme will be charged in full.
  6. If you are being partially or fully funded to join a programme, we will confirm the specific terms and conditions of that arrangement with you.

Residential programmes

  1. A £1000 deposit is payable to secure your place. The remaining balance must be paid within 30 days of the start of your programme. If you book within 30 days of the start of your programme, the full amount is payable.
  2. The deposit is non-refundable for cancellations within 30 days of the programme start date.
  3. If you cancel up to 30 days of the programme start date, your deposit payment may be transferred to another programme subject to availability. Only one transfer is permitted. This transfer option is valid up to a period of 2 years from date of original booking.
  4. If you book a programme using a promotion code or special offer, the code/offer is only valid for the original programme date booked and is not transferable.
  5. In the event of a ‘no show’ for any booking, any balance due for the programme will be charged in full.
  6. If you are being partially or fully funded to join a programme, we will confirm the specific terms and conditions of that arrangement with you.

Cancellation of a programme

If we have to cancel a programme due to circumstances outside of the control of Recentre Limited, please note the following:

  1. Deposit payments are non-refundable. Your deposit may be transferred to another programme listed on our website of your choice subject to availability. Only one transfer permitted. This transfer option is valid up to a period of 2 years from date of original booking.
  2. If we have to cancel a programme, that you have already paid the full amount for, we will offer you:
    • A replacement programme of lower cost (if available) and we will refund the difference in cost; or
    • offer of a replacement programme of equivalent cost; or
    • refund you the amount paid minus the deposit (which can be transferred to another programme as in point 12 above)

Vouchers

  1. Vouchers are issued for redemption at Recentre Limited for the provision of accommodation, services or benefits equivalent in value to the purchase price of the voucher. Please be aware there is no expiry on our vouchers but prices can vary depending on the nature of the programme and seasonal fluctuations. Vouchers may not be exchanged wholly or partially for cash. However, personal credit can be given if the full amount is not used. This personal credit can be used towards another programme.

Travel

If you are travelling to Northern Ireland from outside the country:

  1. Before you come on the programme you must be covered by insurance, which must include adequate cover for baggage, medical expenses and the cost of repatriation should you become too ill to continue, including helicopter rescue and air ambulance.
  2. It is up to each person to ensure that their insurance is adequate for the programme they have booked. Any claims concerning matters for which you are insured must be directed to your insurers.
  3. You need to ensure that your insurance also covers any activities that may be available on the programme such as Yoga, Equine Therapy, Hiking etc. We will confirm, before you pay any deposit, what activities will be offered during the programme.
  4. Recentre Limited is not liable for non-compliance with this and the participant accepts responsibility for obtaining any travel insurance required.
  5. Any information or advice provided by Recentre Limited on matters such as permits, visas, vaccinations, climate, clothing, baggage, special equipment, airlines and travel connections etc. is given in good faith but without responsibility on the part of Recentre Limited. The participant accepts responsibility for obtaining any necessary visas, travel documents, vaccinations etc required for the holiday.

Risks

  1. Your booking is accepted on the understanding that you realise the possible risks involved in our programme, including of injury, disease, loss or damage to property, inconvenience and discomfort. Changes in planned travel may be caused by flight cancellations, weather, sickness, or other unforeseeable circumstances. No refunds will be given for services not utilised. If a customer of Recentre Limited is unable, or does not choose, to complete an activity offered on the programme, Recentre Limited is not liable to supply alternative options.
  2. If you participate in the activities it is necessary that you work within the boundaries set by the leading member of the Recentre Limited team. Signing our booking form confirms your agreement to this, and if you commit any illegal act when on a Recentre Limited programme, or if in the opinion of the leading member of the Recentre Limited team, your behaviour is causing or likely to cause danger, distress or annoyance to others we may terminate your participation in the programme without any liability on our part. If you are affected by any condition, medical or otherwise or have any special needs, these must be brought to our attention at time of booking.
  3. We are responsible to you for the proper performance of our obligations under the contract. We are liable to you for any damage caused to you by our failure to perform the contract or by our improper performance of the contract, unless that failure is: a) attributable to you; b) attributable to a third party unconnected with the provision of the services and are unforeseeable or unavoidable; c) due to unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control and could not have been avoided even if all due care had been taken d) due to an event which even with all due care we could not foresee or forestall.

Complaints

  1. If you have any complaint about the programme, you must make it known at the earliest opportunity to the Programme Coordinator, who will normally be able to take appropriate action. If you are not satisfied with their response and you feel your healing experience is likely to be significantly affected, you should notify our Operations & Holistic Director on info@recentre.uk and we will do our best to resolve the problem.

Jurisdiction

This contract is governed by the laws of the Northern Ireland. Any conflict between the terms and conditions of the contract and the law of the Northern Ireland, then the law of Northern Ireland shall prevail.
